Pharmacological Effects
Tadalafil is an effective, reversible selective inhibitor of specific fosfodiesterazy type 5 (FDE5) guanozin cyclic monophosphate (tsGMF). When sexual excitation causes local release of nitric oxide, inhibition FDE5 tadalafilom leads to higher levels tsGMF in the cavernous body of penis. The result is relaxation of smooth muscles of arteries and blood circulation to the tissues of the penis that cause erection. Tadalafil does not have an effect in the absence of sexual stimulation.
Tadalafil improves erection and the possibility of successful sexual intercourse. The drug is valid for 36 hours. The effect manifests itself after 16 minutes after taking the drug in the presence of sexual excitation.
